We are a 24/7 program that serves people in need of a safe place to stay. We provide shelter, meals, showers, laundry, case management, as well as educational and employment classes to all who enter our doors.
Hours:
Variety of shifts available including overnights (night shifts pay $20.50 per hour) Flexibility to take other open shifts as needed appreciated. Eligible for PTO benefits based on agreed hours per week. Holidays worked are double-time pay.
General responsibilities are:
  • Ensure safety and support of our guests & volunteers, showing empathy & compassion.
  • Assist guests in acclimating to and following house guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with guests.
  • Help maintain the daily routine of the shelter including meal prep, answering phones, etc.
  • Maintain a clean environment.
  • Foster rapport with donors & volunteers.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, squat, kneel, climb and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Positivity a must!
  • Social service background a plus!
