Busser — Dining & Theatre (Urgently Hiring) — Clarksville, IN Derby Dinner Playhouse•3.9 Clarksville, IN Job Details Part-time $10•$11 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Derby Dinner Playhouse is hiring friendly, organized Bussers to welcome guests and support dining and theatre service during evening performances. Evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Able to work some mornings/afternoons on weekdays is a plus.
Pay:
$10•11/hour Key Responsibilities Greet and escort guests to assigned tables; set positive tone for guest experience Communicate seating, timing, and guest needs with servers and management Assist with reservation/check-in and group seating procedures Clear and buss tables promptly; deliver dishes to kitchen and restock service areas Support servers, kitchen, and management to ensure smooth, timely service during shows Answer basic questions about the menu, show times, and theatre policies as needed Must Have Prior hospitality, customer-service, or bussing experience preferred but not required Excellent communication and a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to stay calm and organized during high-volume service Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and available for evenings, weekends, and holidays Able to stand for extended periods and move quickly between tables (physically able to carry trays/dishes) Nice-to-have Experience working events, theatres, or large-capacity dining environments Knowledge of basic food-safety and handling practices
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
