Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays. Assist with food preparation tasks such as cutting, assembling, and portioning ingredients. Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing excellent customer service. Support with cleaning duties such as dishwashing, surface sanitizing, and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards. Handle manual tasks like weight handling for food supplies and restocking items as needed. Engage with guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and ensure a positive dining experience. Collaborate with team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred; experience in fine dining or catering is a plus. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures required. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on in-person interaction. Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform manual handling tasks comfortably. Experience with POS systems and processing cash transactions is advantageous. Familiarity with food industry standards related to dietary accommodations and food handling protocols.
