Part-Time Ninth Floor Club + Venue is looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Buffet Attendant to join our hospitality team. This position is primarily responsible for our weekday lunch service, with opportunities for additional hours as a Banquet Server during weeknight and weekend events. Schedule
- 10:00 AM
- 3:00 PM during lunch shifts Tuesday through Friday plus additional weeknight and weekend hours available for banquet events
- Flexible scheduling based on club and event needs Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare the lunch buffet before service
- Monitor the buffet throughout service and replenish food as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented buffet area
- Operate the cash register and process member and guest transactions
- Assist members and guests with questions and requests
- Break down and clean the buffet area after lunch service
- Assist with general dining room setup and cleanup
- Help prepare rooms and spaces for private events and banquets
- Work as a banquet server during evening events as needed
- Provide friendly, professional service to club members and their guests
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and club service standards Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, buffet, catering, or hospitality experience preferred
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and stay productive during busy periods
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move food trays and supplies
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Banquet serving experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that the small details matter.
