Hiring Agency Tourism, Arts, & Heritage Cabinet | Kentucky Department of Parks Location 5465 State Park Road Jamestown, KY 42629 USA Description The Kentucky Department of Parks is seeking a motivated team leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service as our new Park Worker I for the Rowena Landing Restaurant at the Lake Cumberland State Resort Park, located on the beautiful 60 thousand plus acre Lake Cumberland. This Resort Park is one of the premier lodging and dining facilities in the area. For decades, we have been serving our guests in our 200-seat restaurant with panoramic views of Lake Cumberland. In addition to front-of-house operations, you will work closely with the back of the house operations, group sales and other departments to provide delivery of exceptional guest services for our Rowena Landing Restaurant throughout the year. If providing quality customer service while working in one of the finest locations in Kentucky appeals to you, then this position MIGHT be for you! Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Stock waitress station and buffet unit with dishes, mugs, glasses, etc to be kept stocked before, during and after shift Responsible for sweeping, mopping and vacuuming dining room floors. Removing dirty dishes from tables, and wiping tables Janitorial/Cleaning duties for the Dining Room Follows departmental rules, regulations, and policies under the direction of Dining Room Supervisor. Working with Point of Sale System to ring up Guests Cash count procedures at end of shift. Skills and Expectations include but are not limited to the following: Time Management. Teamwork. Communication Skills. Compliance with all Food and Beverage park standards. Ability to work under pressure. Excellent grooming standards. Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations. Ability to work on your own or in teams. Maintain a valid KY STAR certification.
