Summary Job Description:
Food Service Worker Full time, First shift Preparation and delivery of off-scheduled patient services, provide high quality, good presentation and high level of customer service satisfaction with sanitary conditions maintained throughout service and clean-up. Maintains kitchen work areas and equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
Job Duties:
Prep work including, washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding vegetables and fruits along with weighing and measuring designated ingredients. Washes pots and pans thoroughly using established ware washing procedures and sweeps and mops kitchen and dish room floors using proper procedures. Properly stores foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures. Prepares items needed for meals; prepares hot and cold beverages, replenishes as needed and fills and replenishes condiments and all assorted items on the line. Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator while maintaining all safety standards. Operate Cash Register and cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
Preferred Requirements:
Food Handler card or Servsafe certificate preferred Prefer High School/GED Prefer one to three months relative job experience
