Summary Job Description:
Room Service Associate Full Time, First Shift Responsible for serving meals to patients in a professional and efficient manner.
Job Duties:
Complies with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations. Demonstrates knowledge of all therapeutic diets and the proper foods and condiments served with the particular diets. Gives all patients an opportunity to order their meals including calling isolation patients for their selections. Interacts with nursing to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate, and patients' food needs are met. Offers alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
Preferred Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED One to three months' experience Food Handler card or Servsafe certificate preferred
