Food Service Technician Every meal you make helps a youth feel a little more at home. Educational and Treatment Council is seeking a Food Service Technician for a residential facility serving youth. In this role, you'll independently handle all components of meal service — prepping, cooking, serving, and cleanup — following established menus and recipes.

Pay:

$11.50/hour

Schedule:

Approximately 6-24 hours/week, depending on availability and facility needs; may include occasional weekend hours a few times a month.

Qualifications:

Experience cooking in a commercial or school setting Ability to read and follow menus/recipes ServSafe certification and school/facility food service experience highly preferred Must be at least 21 years of age Must pass FBI background check and State Central Registry check

Responsibilities:

Complete daily food preparation on schedule, following written menus Set up, serve, and clean up for each scheduled meal and snack Operate and maintain kitchen equipment per established procedures; clean immediately after use Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe kitchen, following proper food handling, hygiene, and equipment protocols Uphold sanitation, safety, and food preparation/storage standards set by local and state health departments Prepare appealing, healthy meals and snacks in sufficient quantity for residents Count plates before and after each meal/snack service Comply with all state food service/distribution requirements, licensing, safety, and health codes Complete assigned daily and special cleaning tasks Carry out assigned responsibilities during emergencies per ETC's Emergency Plans Perform other duties as assigned
