3011496251-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Cura-Hospitality is seeking a Full-Time Utility Worker to support kitchen and dining operations in a healthcare and senior living environment. Responsibilities include dishwashing, pot washing, basic food prep support, trash removal, sweeping and mopping, stocking supplies, and maintaining sanitation standards. The Utility Worker assists cooks and servers during meal periods, follows safety and infection-control procedures, and operates dishroom equipment. This role works closely with the culinary team to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming dining experience for residents, patients, staff, and guests while reflecting Cura's people-first, hospitality-focused culture. Responsibilities Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dish machines and sinks Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dishroom, and service areas Assist with basic food prep, tray line, and meal service as directed Remove trash, recycle materials, and handle linen in compliance with safety standards Sweep, mop, and detail clean floors and work surfaces Stock paper goods, chemicals, and kitchen supplies in designated areas Follow infection-control, food safety, and OSHA safety procedures Operate and maintain dishroom and cleaning equipment safely Support cooks and servers during peak meal periods Provide friendly, respectful service to residents, patients, staff, and guests Required Skills Dishwashing and pot washing Kitchen sanitation and cleaning Basic food preparation support Safe chemical handling Equipment operation (dish machine, carts) Time management Infection-control and food safety practices Trash and recycling handling Communication with kitchen staff Following written and verbal instructions
