Job Overview After celebrating our 25th anniversary on Newbury, Piattini is looking to expand our dynamic team with new Bussers. Bussers play an essential role in creating a smooth and memorable dining experience by supporting both guests and the front-of-house team throughout service. Responsibilities include maintaining table cleanliness, resetting tables efficiently, assisting servers with guest needs, and helping keep the restaurant organized and running seamlessly during busy shifts. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in attention to detail. Many of our team members stay with us for years or advance into higher-level roles within Piattini and our sister restaurants. Duties Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed Maintain cleanliness of dining surfaces, chairs, and floors through regular cleaning and sanitation Support food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met Help with setting up catering events or special functions when required Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs Ensure all areas of the restaurant are organized, sanitized, and ready for guests at all times Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures Experience with cleaning, bussing, or supporting restaurant operations is a plus Enthusiastic attitude with a focus on delivering excellent customer service Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning equipment Knowledge of the food industry or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
