Gustazo is looking for an individual who is passionate about food and hospitality, with the clear goal of consistently creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. We are currently seeking to fill a vacant Support Staff position at our establishment. Role Significance The position of Support Staff is a critical component in our service delivery model. The individual in this role serves as the jack of all trades for our restaurant, keeping the flow consistent throughout every other work group. A fast-paced position, it requires a calm demeanor, professional appearance, and the ability to manage guest expectations are essential traits for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities Guest Reception :

Greet all incoming guests with a polite demeanor, promptly and professionally guide them to their tables, and accommodate any special requirements or requests they may have.

Seating Management :

Clean and set tables. Maintain an organized and efficient seating chart to balance guest comfort with optimal utilization of dining space.

Waitlist Coordination :

Manage the guest waiting list during high-volume periods, ensuring accurate wait times and clear, respectful communication.

Guest Relations :

Monitor the dining area to ascertain guest satisfaction, and engage with departing guests to ensure their experience met or exceeded expectations.

Menu Familiarity :

Be well-acquainted with the menu offerings to answer basic guest questions prior to their dining experience.

Food Running:

Communicate with Expo and Servers to ensure all food arrives at the correct table promptly.

Front-of-House Maintenance :

Ensure that the reception area and guest waiting areas maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization.

Collaborative Effort :

Liaise with service and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. Qualifications Previous experience in a hospitality role is strongly preferred but not a requirement. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential.
