We are looking for a top tier, customer focused Assistant Dining Room Manager to join our team! As part of the Dining team in The Gala , a private, fine dining restaurant, your role will be to foster a clean and welcoming dining environment while making a difference in the lives of others. If you have a passion for friendly and personalized service, take pride in overseeing the food and beverage meal service, and are looking for a remarkable company that aligns with those values, then this opportunity is made for you! Responsibilities Oversee food and beverage service to residents Interview, hire, train and supervise dining room staff Manage schedule for all dining room staff Handle requests from residents who have specific needs Oversee set up of the dining room for the next scheduled meal Assist in inventorying supplies Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Previous dining room and server experience Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire Able to follow written and oral instructions Basic working knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations Able to assist with serving food and beverages for residents in a prompt and efficient manner There is nothing common about The Commons in Lincoln.
