Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is hiring for a cafeteria assistant to support in the cleaning and set-up of the cafeteria during lunches. Part-time hours, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is a tuition-free public charter academy, providing an academically challenging program in a safe, structured environment. CCSL opened its doors in September 2013 to serve students in K-3. The school has expanded each school year and currently serves students in K-12 as of the 2022-23 school year. Our mission is to be a provider of top-quality education to a highly diverse student body. CCSL will prepare all students for success in college, equip them with the ability and desire for lifelong learning, and strengthen their civic, ethical, and moral values. CCSL will maintain high standards of efficiency and accountability throughout its operation.
Responsibilities:
Assist in clean up of cafeteria space in preparation for each lunch (wash tables, sweep, mop as needed) Empty trash as needed, dispose of trash in outside dumpster as needed Utilize at all times exemplary practices in sanitation and personal cleanliness. Perform such other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s)
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED Prior food service or related field experience preferred. Follow safety and sanitation practices and procedures Ability to lift up to 30 pounds (trash) required Ability to work with a diversity of individuals Working as part of a team Available 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
