Food Service Worker 3.5 Hours Waltham Public Schools - 3.6 Waltham, MA Job Details 6 hours ago Qualifications Serving Kitchen health and safety standards Retail sales transactions Food service health code compliance Cash register operations Food safety sanitizing procedures Cleaning messes in dining areas Entry level Full Job Description Food Service Cafeteria Worker 3.5 Hours Performs a variety of duties related to the school food service program, to maintain food service facilities in a clean and sanitary condition Set up serving areas and steam tables; serve food to students and faculty Count milk and other food items as assigned. Adhere to safe and sanitary working practices and procedures. Must take "Safe Serve" course within first 6 month probation period. (Non-substitutes) Collect money and make change. Use a cash register effectively Assure food items and supplies are stored properly Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager Must be able to stand for duration of work shift Must be able to lift 40lbs. Must be able to follow written and oral instruction Communicate both verbally and written with students and adults effectively
