Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Catering Service Worker to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties Set up catering events by arranging tables, linens, and service stations according to event specifications Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency Manage beverage service including wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to proper serving techniques Clear tables promptly and bus dishes to maintain cleanliness throughout the event Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, accommodating special requests, and ensuring guest comfort Operate POS systems for order processing and billing accurately Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Support team members in setting up and breaking down event spaces as needed Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or catering services is highly preferred Knowledge of culinary practices, food handling, and safety regulations Experience with banquet or fine dining environments is advantageous Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and measurements Familiarity with beverage service including wine knowledge and drink presentation techniques Competence in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus; bartending or coffee experience is beneficial Join our team as a Catering Service Worker if you are passionate about delivering outstanding service in a lively hospitality setting.
