Job Description

Description Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining areas. In addition, assists in the serving and preparation of food. Promotes an environment of customer service, hospitality, and student satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Must create and sustain positive working relationships with co-workers. Adheres to all PRH and CSDC policies and procedures, and the Center Operating Procedures. Ensures equipment and assigned work areas are clean and maintained in accordance with state and local codes, CSD, and DOL standards. Assists in the preparation of food. Assists in serving food. Cleans and maintains dining room and kitchen facilities. Operates dish-washing equipment. Cleans and checks service equipment. Fills salt, pepper and napkin dispensers after each meal. Assists in moving and storing supplies. Works within established safety guidelines. Attends required staff training sessions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Available Schedule:
Monday thru Friday 10:00 AM to 7:00
PM Requirements Qualifications:
Minimum :
High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency Diploma. Ability to read and write in English.
Preferred :
Certificate of completion from a culinary/food service training program. Three months experience in a food service capacity. Serve Safe certification.
Knowledge :
Individual should have well-defined habits of personal cleanliness and hygiene. Must meet State or local food handling requirements, whichever are more restrictive. Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certificates.
