Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Catering Service Worker to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service at various catering events, ensuring guest satisfaction through professional presentation, timely service, and attentive guest relations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with experience in catering, banquet service, and fine dining environments. Your contribution will help create memorable experiences for our clients by maintaining high standards of food safety, hospitality, and customer service. Duties Set up catering events by arranging tables, linens, and service stations according to event specifications. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper presentation standards. Assist with food preparation, including plating and portioning, to ensure quality and consistency. Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, accommodating special requests, and ensuring guest comfort. Manage beverage service including wine knowledge, drink service, and bar tending duties as needed. Buss tables promptly after events to maintain cleanliness and readiness for subsequent service. Operate POS systems for order processing and billing accurately during events. Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly and adhering to sanitation protocols. Support event setup and breakdown, including transporting supplies and equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of catering functions from start to finish. Experience Candidates should have prior experience in the food industry with a focus on catering or banquet services. Experience in fine dining environments or hotel settings is highly desirable. A background in guest services or hospitality roles will be advantageous.

Specific skills include:

Proven food service experience including serving, bartending, or beverage management. Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations. Knowledge of wine, drink service, and beverage pairing is preferred. Experience using POS systems for transactions during events. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to billing and portioning. Previous banquet or catering experience demonstrating efficiency in fast-paced environments. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
