Saturday + Sunday $10/hour + tips Something delicious is cooking! We are thrilled to finally share that Fork & Spoon is bringing a new, vibrant Breakfast-Lunch-Brunch dining experience to Brighton. At Fork & Spoon we believe in giving great service, going the extra mile, treating our guests-community- and each other with respect, kindness, and dignity. Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Busser, where your energy and attention to detail will elevate the dining experience for every guest. In this vital role, you will support the service staff by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Your proactive approach ensures that tables are promptly cleared, reset efficiently, and sanitation standards are upheld to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant restaurant setting, contributing directly to a positive and memorable dining atmosphere.
Duties:
Clear and reset tables swiftly after guests leave, ensuring they are spotless and inviting for new diners Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering condiments or utensils as needed Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs regularly Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of chairs, trays, or supplies following safe lifting practices Support food service operations by transporting dishes from the kitchen to the dining area with care and efficiency Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnovers and address any immediate needs or issues Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Skills:
Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail to maintain a hygienic dining space Experience in bussing or food service roles within restaurants or catering environments preferred Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing Excellent internal communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with servers, kitchen staff, and management Customer service mindset with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations in the food industry Effective table setting skills to contribute to a polished dining presentation Hospitality experience that demonstrates adaptability in fast-paced environments Restaurant hours: Fork & Spoon Brunch House is open every day from 8-3 pm.
