Has basic understanding of Relationship-Based Care (RBC) principles, meets expectations outlined in Commitment To My Co-workers, and supports RBC unit action plans.
Uses effective customer service/interpersonal skills at all times. Sets up and stocks cafeteria using FIFO, monitors quality of food & assure enough food & paper stock available. Responsible for brewing coffee, and keeping a good stock of beverages.
Serves & replenishes hot food in cafeteria, including monitoring temperatures and quality of food. Areas include breakfast, lunch & dinner service.
Cleans and sanitizes workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment.
Interacts with customers/patients throughout the day/evening. Helps answer questions about food, ingredients & special needs.
Knowledgably about the food they are serving, including suggestive sellingPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned
