Job Summary Join our dynamic foodservice team as a Foodservice Worker-Sub, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this versatile role, you will support various food service operations, including food preparation, serving, cleaning, and customer interaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and hospitality skills while contributing to a welcoming environment. Whether assisting in the kitchen or providing exceptional guest service, your energy and attention to detail will be vital in ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and meal assembly following safety and quality standards Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive experience Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and managing waste disposal Buss tables promptly, reset dining areas, and ensure a tidy environment for guests Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Handle cash transactions responsibly while providing friendly in-person customer service Support catering events or banquet setups with proper food handling and presentation techniques Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred Knowledge of food preparation, dishwashing, order taking, serving, and beverage preparation Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette for guest interactions Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and cleaning Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Experience with dietary accommodations or catering is advantageous Commitment to food safety standards and proper hygiene practices Previous roles such as host/hostess, cashier, banquet server, or culinary aide are beneficial Join us in delivering outstanding service through your passion for food and guest relations!
