This role also requires being a market merchandiser. Filling 3 markets, helping with grab and go creations, run lunch delivery orders, and stocking markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Food Preparation :
Assisting with food preparation such as creating fruit cups, maintaining the salad bar, stocking food supplies, etc.Sales Service :
Engage with and provide superior service to all customers. Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies. Communicate with customers regarding orders, comments, and complaints.Cash Handling :
Establish or identify prices of goods and capture sales in the point of sales system. Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers. Ensure accuracy of payments and change disbursements. Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.Teamwork :
Contribute to a positive team environment. Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments. Identify alarms or changes in morale and performance. Maintain calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to set a positive example for the team.Merchandise :
Organize and stock supplies, service stations and products. Rotate products and stock grab-and-go items throughout shift to increase sales. Follow-up placement protocols to optimize customer sales.Safety & Sanitation :
Follow operational policies and procedures. Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines. Clean, sanitize and organize work areas, utensils, and equipment. Clean service and seating areas. Scrub and polish counters, tables, and other equipment. Perform other duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary. Job Requirements 1 year of food service experience required. Strong food prep skills preferred. Food/Beverage Production — Knowledge of techniques and equipment for preparing, serving, storing and handling food and beverage products. Mathematics — Ability to add and subtract, charging appropriately and distributing change to customers. Suggestive Selling or Influencing Others — Suggesting others to buy merchandise/goods or to otherwise change their minds or actions. Customer Service — Working with the public. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services.
