Until filled Food Service Worker (Server/Dishwasher/Cashier) Detroit Lakes Public Schools Food & Nutrition Services (FNS) is seeking a Part-time Food Service Worker. Come be a part of feeding our district's children!
Summary:
Performs a variety of FNS duties according to department requirements, including but not limited to; preparation, serving, dishwashing, cashiering and clean-up.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Previous Related Experience in high volume food service
Special Knowledge, Skills, Certifications, Licensure Required:
1. Knowledge of materials and methods used in food preparation. 2. Knowledge of care and use of cooking utensils and equipment. 3. Customer Service Skills 4. Be able to Multitask 5. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing 6. Ability to follow oral and written instructions 7. Ability to organize duties and utilize time management skills. 8. Be dependable
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
1. Computer Knowledge 2. Ability to understand nutrient information 3. Previous Related Experience in school food service 4.
Food Handler Certification Schedule:
10:30 am - 1:30 pm (Monday - Friday) When school is in session.
Wage:
$19.00 per hour with progressive salary options
