Bus Person - The St. Paul Grill Morrissey Hospitality - 3.7 Saint Paul, MN Job Details Part-time $16.45 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Paid jury duty Military leave Paid time off Union benefits Bereavement leave Qualifications Moving Full Job Description This position supports service activities with primary responsibility for setting tables; clearing dining tables and bar; refreshing tables; cleaning and sanitizing tables/chairs and booths; cleanliness of work area; delivering food orders to guests; assembling and delivering to go orders when necessary; and supporting bar service activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists guests and servers and in a timely and professional manner. Cleans and polishes glassware, flatware, and equipment. Removes dirty items from tables, cleans and sets tables with silverware, glassware and china, assemble roll wraps, fill water glasses, and transport food to guests. Supports bar staff with clearing soiled items; restocking ice, glassware, liquor, beer, wine and paper supplies. Transports dirty dishes/glassware, etc. from dining room to kitchen and/or bar. Accurately assembles, fills, and delivers to go orders when necessary. Ensures the cleanliness and organization of designated work areas. Stocks/replenishes an adequate supply of product and equipment based on expected business volumes and completes set up and break down duties to departmental standard. Sweeps and mops floors. Performs all duties on the position checklist including all cleaning duties. Complies with company, local, state, and national regulations pertaining to food quality, cleanliness and sanitation standards, alcohol service, and safety. Completes any and all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 6
months to 1-year related experience in a high-volume, high energy, food and beverage environment. Availability to work nights and weekends as needed. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to position self to move about. The employee frequently is required to operate and use station tools and equipment; and communicate with guests, employees, and management. The employee must move up to 30 pounds frequently. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. We are inspired by connections.
