Responsibilities - What you'll do Prepares one or several parts of a major meal such as an entire entree, vegetable, salad or dessert. Assists in the preparation of meals by measuring ingredients, mixing, boiling, frying, monitoring cooking temperatures, etc. Prepares foods on an independent basis. Directs and assists entry-level employees and/or other helpers in the preparation and serving of foods, and the cleaning of utensils and work areas. Receives direction from higher level cooks who provide specific instruction and review. Qualifications - All you need for success Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrive to work on time, returns from lunch on time and minimizes unscheduled absences.Physical needs:
Ability to lift 50 pounds of food -30-40 pounds repeatedly, bend at waist, and stand for extended periods.
