Responsibilities Prepare and replenish breakfast items, ensuring freshness and presentation meet high standards of quality and appeal Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays safely and efficiently Assist with food handling, portioning, and basic food preparation tasks in accordance with established recipes and standards Serve guests promptly and courteously, addressing their needs with a friendly attitude in person or via POS systems for processing transactions Support setup and breakdown of breakfast service areas, including cleaning utensils and equipment after use Handle weight-based tasks such as portion control or inventory checks with accuracy and care Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy breakfast hours, including catering or banquet functions if required Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality preferred; fine dining or catering experience is a plus Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures necessary for maintaining health standards Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; familiarity with POS systems is advantageous Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on in-person interaction and positive guest engagement Experience with food preparation, serving, cleaning, and manual handling in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of dietary considerations or culinary experience related to the food industry is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights safely, and work effectively as part of a team Join us to bring warmth and energy to our guests' mornings!
