POSITION OVERVIEW
Bussers are an essential part of how Tupelo Grille operates at a high level. You support servers, maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the dining room, and ensure tables are turned efficiently and with care. This is a role that requires physical stamina, situational awareness, and a genuine commitment to the team. It is also an excellent entry point for anyone interested in building a career in hospitality.
Reports to:
Server / Shift Supervisor / General Manager
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Clear and reset tables promptly between guests, following Tupelo's table set standards Deliver bread, water, and other table items as directed by servers Assist servers with running food when needed Maintain cleanliness in the dining room throughout service — sweep, wipe, and reset as needed Support servers with pre-bussing during the meal to maintain clear, comfortable tables Stock server stations with necessary supplies throughout the shift Assist with opening and closing sidework as assigned Communicate table status and floor needs to the host and manager
QUALIFICATIONS
No prior experience required — we will train the right person Able to carry trays and bus tubs, lift up to 40 lbs, and stay on your feet for a full shift Punctual, reliable, and a true team player Basic English communication skills required
