Full Job Description Overview:

Emma Keys is a local burger & hot dog restaurant in the historic Lindley Park neighborhood. We operate in a collaborative open-kitchen environment and are seeking to hire 1-3 employees to join our awesome staff. Interviews will be prioritized based upon experience and schedule flexibility. Because we are an open kitchen, all employees handle both customer service & kitchen tasks. Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation and handling
• Operate the fryer and grill stations while maintaining awareness of ticket times
• Assist with the "build" station where meals get assembled to ensure correctness
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and kitchen
• Follow proper food safety procedures
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties (floors, bathrooms, taking out trash, etc.)
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the food service department
• Help with food running and bussing tables as needed
• Greet customers and assist with the register as needed
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service (particularly grill & prep experience)
• Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Awareness of food safety guidelines Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.

Compensation:

Competitive pay! Base hourly pay + tips
