JOB ANALYSIS
To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an efficient and friendly manner.
REPORTS TO
Kitchen Manager or Supervisor
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(The following are illustrative of the responsibilities associated with this position and are not intended to be all-inclusive.) Food preparation as directed by Kitchen Manager. Operates food service equipment in a safety manner and within sanitation guidelines Performs all duties requested relating to specific food service jobs listed below: Cooks, cashiers, servers, and dishwashers. Rotate through cook, cashier, server, and dishwasher positions as directed by the Kitchen Manager or Supervisor. Serves students and staff in a consistent and pleasant manner Maintains the highest possible standards of sanitation. Demonstrates positive work habits by showing initiative, cooperation, dependability, efficiency, and productivity Performs in a professional manner when interacting with students, parents, faculty, administration, and co-workers Follows the guidelines of confidentiality as established by the school district. Attends and participates in relevant training sessions, meetings and professional growth activities as requested and/or required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in restaurants or food service preferred.
