QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from High School or possession of a GED. Some experience in food service. Thorough knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements for handling food and operating equipment. Substantial knowledge of meal preparation systems. Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work.
RESPONSIBILITES
Performs a limited number of basic food service functions in a school kitchen and cafeteria. The principal function of an employee in this class is to serve school meals to school students and faculty and perform general food preparation and kitchen cleanup operations. Communicates and coordinates regularly with appropriate others to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of interdepartmental operation and activities.
