Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and energetic individual to join our Southwick cafeteria team as a Food Prep Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, work well in a fast-paced setting, and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and serving meals according to daily menus
- Restock serving lines and food stations as needed
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Provide friendly, respectful service to students and staff
- Support other cafeteria team members as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Food service experience preferred but not required
- Must pass a background check
Schedule will be 2 days a week for 4 hours per day.
