Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and proactive Busser to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our dining service, ensuring that tables are clean, organized, and ready for guests to enjoy their meals. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere and support our servers in delivering top-notch service. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables efficiently after guests leave, ensuring a smooth flow for incoming diners. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces. Support servers by bussing dishes, refilling water glasses, and delivering utensils or condiments as needed. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of chairs or trays while practicing safe lifting techniques. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols throughout all duties. Help with light food service tasks when required, supporting the overall guest experience. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist guests politely. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and physical movement of tables or supplies. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations within the restaurant industry. Experience with table setting or catering is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided. A customer-focused mindset with excellent teamwork skills to contribute positively to a busy restaurant environment.
