We take pride in the culinary creations prepared in our kitchen for our students, faculty and administration. Our ideal candidate for this position should have experience working in a busy food service environment and enjoy working around children. This individual should be excellent at multi-tasking (all kitchen duties and tasks are required), and have exceptional customer service and communications skills. This job is ideal for a person who needs a job which coordinates with their children(s) school schedule. Our cafeteria assistant will be expected to:

• Follow menus, recipes and directions from Chef
• Assist in the preparation of food that is fresh and hot for each lunch class
• Take pride in food packing which maintains quality and consistency
• Follow all Board of Health guidelines for the safety of our customers
• Assist in maintaining accurate food inventories
• Rotate stock effectively
• Ensure that the kitchen and food prep areas are cleaned and sanitized each day.
• Work the serving line as well as pass out boxed lunches to students and faculty
• Operate a POS cash register
• Follow directions
