Bungalow General Manager Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Expo / Food Runner to support kitchen operations and ensure food is delivered accurately and efficiently to guests. This role is essential in maintaining smooth communication between the front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH), supporting service flow, and helping keep the kitchen clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and stock the expo/kitchen station before service Read and understand kitchen flow to support efficient food execution Ensure plates are organized, accurate, and ready for timely delivery Deliver food to the correct guests, seats, and table positions Communicate clearly and effectively with both FOH and BOH team members Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and expo areas Help with general cleaning duties during and after service Take out trash and support overall kitchen upkeep Work as part of the team to ensure smooth and efficient service
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team Ability to stay organized and move quickly in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail, especially when delivering food to correct seats and positions Ability to understand and adapt to kitchen flow during service Willingness to assist with cleaning and other support tasks as needed Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to carry plates and trays safely Ability to lift trash bags, supplies, and other kitchen items as needed
Compensation:
Will receive hourly rate in additional to service charges
