The Breakfast Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a positive and welcoming start to our guests' day by providing exceptional breakfast service in a timely and efficient manner. This position involves preparing, presenting, and replenishing breakfast items while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. The ideal candidate will create a warm and inviting atmosphere, addressing guest needs and preferences with professionalism and care. Collaboration with kitchen and service staff is essential to ensure smooth operations and a seamless dining experience. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying. Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in food handling or safety (e.g., ServSafe). Experience working in a fast-paced breakfast or restaurant environment. Familiarity with dietary restrictions and allergen management. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends. Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population.
Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet or service area, ensuring all food items are fresh, well-stocked, and attractively presented. Greet guests warmly and assist with any special requests or dietary needs during breakfast service. Monitor food quality and safety standards, promptly addressing any issues to comply with health regulations. Clean and sanitize dining and service areas regularly throughout the shift to maintain a hygienic environment. Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to coordinate food preparation and timely replenishment of items.
