Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Create weekly employee schedule for all eventsRead all BEO's, make sure they are current and updated for the eventOrder all linen, and banquet supplies used on a daily basisAssist in any banquet, serving, plating up food, set up or clean upRing banquet ticket and collect revenueMake sure all Banquets are in Opera and have a working knowledge of its useAttend meetings with the Sales Team regarding upcoming meetingsAttend weekly BEO meetingsBe available to assist all departments in any conference room needsBe available for all Banquets room activitiesOversees employees in the areas of: food preparation and handling, personal hygiene and uniform requirements, cleaning and sanitation, order processing, cash register, opening and closing procedures, customer service, inventory and stockingEnsure service excellence by fostering a positive guest experience and proactively addressing customer concernsEnsure proper product quality, presentation, and consistencyMaintain all sanitation and health department requirementsAssist in all F&B personnel hiring and trainingImplement proper chain of command leadershipAssist in maintaining and guiding all F&B personnel training, records, scheduling, development, and discipline for assigned shifts
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of ageStrong leadership and team management skillsProven ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectivelyExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesExperience in training staffKnowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industryMust have current Food Handlers Certification through Carson City Health and Human Services DepartmentPrevious experience in banquets or food and beverage businessPrior supervisor experienceIdentification that establishes identityIdentification that establishes the right to work in the United States
