Schedule:

Personal Touch Food Service, Inc. is hiring Substitute Food Service Workers/Cashiers to support the school cafeteria team. This flexible, on-call position is perfect for individuals looking to work part-time while making a difference in a school community. Perfect for parents or retirees!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals to students Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and cafeteria Restock supplies and assist with food prep and cleanup Follow all food safety and hygiene standards Must pass required background checks per district and NYS regulations

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior food service or school cafeteria experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude. Dependable and punctual, with a strong track record of showing up ready to work. Ability to work well with others as part of a team, including coworkers, school staff, and students. Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy school cafeteria environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Must pass all background checks and comply with school and company health and safety requirements.
