Job Description

Corinth CSD Food Service Corinth Central School district is currently seeking candidates for open positions in the Food Service Department. The openings are full-time, 6.5 hour, 10 month positions that follow the annual school calendar.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED certificate or have sufficient ability to follow written instructions, schedules, interpret recipes, and do the arithmetic necessary to adjust quantities. Willingness to participate in food and nutrition service training. Ability to work harmoniously with staff and students. Ability and initiative to plan, organize, and carry out assignments with minimum supervision. Display a positive attitude toward the school Nutrition Program. Neat and professional in appearance. Must have the physical stamina and emotional stability to work effectively. Lift 30 pounds Stand at least 6 to 7 hours on floor Perform all tasks involving lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares meal components as directed by assignment and/or work schedule. Serves food on the serving line as directed by assignment and/or work schedule. Assists in storing groceries, and supplies as directed by assignment and/or work schedule. Cleans cooking equipment, kitchen serving area as directed by assignment and /or work schedule. Assists with maintaining proper sanitation and safety in accordance with state and local public health regulations. Attends workshops as scheduled. Performs any additional assignments designated by the Food Service Director. Food service and cashier experience is preferred, but we may be willing to train the right candidate.
