Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Part-Time Baker and Food Truck Helper to join our vibrant culinary team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in high-volume food production, crafting delicious baked goods, and supporting the daily operations of our mobile food truck. As a key team member, you will support the owners with restocking and resetting the trailer, cleaning from the day's business and getting the business ready for the following day. If you're passionate about baking, food preparation, and supporting a growing business from the ground floor, this position is perfect for you! Duties Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, most specifically kolache cinnamon buns, fillings, and icings, following established recipes and standards Support the packaging of baked items for retail or catering purposes with attention to detail and cleanliness Help with emptying, restocking, and resetting the food trailer for the next day's business. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards Support the setup, breakdown, and daily operations of the food truck to ensure smooth service during busy periods Provide team support by helping the owners after a long service day Requirements Previous experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation is highly preferred Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and pastry skills is a plus Ability to handle food safely and maintain a clean workspace at all times Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail in following recipes and food handling procedures Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude toward teamwork Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-volume production demands Prior experience in the food industry or culinary settings is advantageous Join us to bring joy through delicious baked goods while gaining hands-on experience in a lively food truck environment!
