Nutrition Services Worker Truman Elementary 5 Hours per day 9 months per year Position Purpose Under the direct supervision of the building Mangers, and Nutrition Services Superior, to assist in maintaining an orderly and safe atmosphere in the kitchen, and food warehouse by helping serve, fill orders.
Essential Functions:
Assists in serving students when needed in the serving line during mealtime. Assists in making sure that kitchen and prep areas are clean. Assists in filling orders for kitchens as needed. Assists students with orderly food purchases, distribution of food, disposal of food waste, and return of trays and utensils. Assists in preparation of meals as needed. Able to push/pull carts as needed. Must have clean driving record. Able to lift 50lbs. regularly 60 day probation period Additional Duties As assigned

Qualifications Profile Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience:
Successful prior experience working as a lunch or food service floater, preferably in a school district or with children a plus.
