In this lively role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food, maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards, and ensuring food safety protocols are strictly followed. Responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Serve food to guests with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency, providing excellent in-person customer service. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and POS (point-of-sale) systems for processing cash transactions. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, and dining areas in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, plating, and packaging for dine-in or catering orders. Follow food safety management practices diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Support the team in weight handling tasks within the workplace and adhere to manual handling safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in food service environments, especially within fine dining or restaurant settings. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and sanitizing procedures. Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in person. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to handle weight safely in the workplace and perform manual handling tasks as needed. Pay:
