Job Summary:
You will perform duties that combine both food preparation and food service, handling general functions related to production, sanitation, and customer service. Your work involves arranging dining areas, cleaning service spaces, and managing dishware. Depending on the needs of the department, you may further specialize as a cafeteria worker, caterer, clerk, cook, or dietary supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Arrange tables and decorations according to instructions. Clean and organize eating and service areas. Collect and return dirty dishes to the kitchen for washing. Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and subordinates. Documenting and recording information accurately. Process necessary information.
Qualifications:
High School Graduate/G.E.D. preferred. Must have knowledge of Customer and Personal Service principles. Must be able to recognize age-specific needs of patients and customers and adapt services accordingly. 1-2 years of food service work experience is preferred.
