Job Overview We are looking for a friendly and proactive Busser to join our restaurant team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our service, helping to keep the dining area clean, organized, and welcoming for our guests. Your efforts will ensure that tables are promptly cleared, set up efficiently, and maintained to the highest standards of sanitation. The ideal candidate is energetic, attentive to detail, and passionate about providing excellent customer service in a lively food industry environment. Duties Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently after guests leave, ensuring a smooth flow of service. Assist with cleaning duties, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and maintaining overall sanitation standards. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of chairs, tables, and supplies following safe lifting practices. Support serving staff by delivering food and beverages to tables when needed. Maintain open communication with the front-of-house team to coordinate table turnover and guest needs. Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed to keep the dining area safe and hygienic. Help with internal communication regarding cleanliness issues or supply shortages to ensure seamless operations. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is a plus but not mandatory. Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail to uphold sanitation standards. Good manual handling skills for heavy lifting and safe movement of furniture or supplies. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant procedures is beneficial. Ability to work quickly in a busy setting while maintaining a positive attitude. Customer service mindset with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
