The Osborn, a 5-star rated senior living and skilled nursing community in Rye, NY, is currently hiring Dining Services Workers to support our kitchen and dining operations. If you're dependable, enthusiastic, and have experience working in a medical, long-term care, or senior living facility, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following all DOH and CMS guidelines. Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen and dining area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly. Portion food based on dietary guidelines and deliver meals to residents with care and professionalism. Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment to ensure infection control standards. Collaborate with nursing and dietary staff to accommodate special diets and individualized meal plans. Interact respectfully with residents, family members, and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in scheduled training sessions to stay compliant with safety, health, and sanitation procedures. Perform other duties as directed by the Dining Services Management team.
What We're Looking For:
Prior experience in a healthcare or senior care facility preferred (skilled nursing, assisted living, or hospital setting). Strong understanding of food safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow. Why Join The Osborn?
