Job Description
Starting pay $11.95 hourly Base wage plus potential of up to $40 gratuity per hour Flexible shift As our Banquet Captain, you'll be the driving force behind making every event feel like a five-star celebration! Whether it's an elegant wedding, a corporate gala, or a festive holiday bash, you'll be working along with the team and oversee all banquet operations, ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed from start to finish. You'll inspire and lead Banquet Food Servers and Bartenders during events, guiding them to deliver exceptional service and create unforgettable experiences. Leadership experience is preferred, and with your passion and dedication, you'll help us set the standard for excellence! What does a Banquet Captain do? Coordinates with meeting planners and convention officials prior to event to ensure requirements are being met. Holds pre-function meetings to ensure that all employees have pertinent information and station assignments. Supervises the activities of all Banquet Food Servers and Bartenders in the function rooms during assigned shift, ensuring all functional job duties are performed according to established departmental policy/procedure. Trains new employees in all F&B standards & procedures and ensures that all employees continually apply training techniques. Monitors banquet function(s) as assigned and informs Supervisor/Manager of any problems that need to be addressed.
