Bistro Server/ Cook - 5:30am-11:00am Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and a keen understanding of the food industry, particularly in fine dining settings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service while enjoying their meals. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that each guest's experience is pleasant and enjoyable. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness throughout the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals. Handle banquet service for special events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests. Process payments accurately and efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction before they leave the establishment. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or food service roles is preferred, especially in fine dining environments. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members alike. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with creating specialty coffee is a plus but not required. A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and a commitment to providing excellent service are essential traits for success in this role.
