Hartville Kitchen is excited to introduce a new opportunity to join our team as a Breakfast Buffet Attendant at our locally owned, family-operated restaurant. For generations, our restaurant has been a place where guests gather to enjoy great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere — and our team members are at the heart of that experience. The Breakfast Buffet Attendant plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience by ensuring our buffet is fresh, well-stocked, clean, and inviting. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in presentation, and loves helping guests feel right at home. At our restaurant, we believe in teamwork, respect, and treating one another like family. Key Responsibilities Turning on buffet units to pre-heat and pre-cool before service Loading hot and cold food items into the buffet Setting out utensils needed for the buffet items Setting out condiments for buffet items Check to confirm China dinner plates and bowls were preheated Place on trays, breakfast pastries for buffet service Knowledge of all food items on the buffet Assists guest as needed answering questions, assistance to return to their table Refilling items on the buffet as needed, KEEPING
ALL ITEMS FRESH, HOT AND OR COLD
Restocking China items as need Communicating with kitchen to which items are needed for the buffet Reacts to guest emergencies by contacting manager on duty Cleaning and sanitizing buffet units as needed
REPLACING SOILED UTENSILS AS NEEDED
Recording hot and cold temperatures for the temp log Breaking down, cleaning and sanitizing buffet units and utensils at the end of service, placing items in proper storage area Breaking down food items and placing items in the proper places at the end of service Completing assigned side work duties for buffet attendant Any other duties as requested by management Ability to stand and walk continually Must be 18 years of age or older Available to work Friday, Saturday and Holidays, 6:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
