Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Busser to support our food service team in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. As a Dietary Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient table clearing, food handling, and overall cleanliness to enhance the guest experience while adhering to food safety standards. Duties Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring proper table setting and sanitation. Assist with bussing dishes, utensils, and glassware efficiently to maintain a tidy dining area. Support kitchen staff with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and catering equipment using safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in accordance with sanitation guidelines. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address any immediate needs or concerns. Handle food safely during clearing and serving processes, adhering to food handling protocols. Assist with basic catering setup and breakdown for special events or functions. Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially within hospitality or catering settings. Knowledge of sanitation procedures, food safety standards, and proper table setting techniques. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Experience with bussing, cleaning, and supporting food service operations is advantageous. Familiarity with the food industry's hygiene standards and internal communication protocols. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
