Wingate by Wyndham - St. Clairsville, Ohio We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Full-Time Breakfast Attendant to prepare and maintain our complimentary hotel breakfast. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in cleanliness, and provides welcoming service to guests. This is an early-morning position that requires weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and open the breakfast area on time each morning Prepare and properly display all required breakfast items Monitor the breakfast bar and replenish food, beverages, utensils, and supplies throughout service Greet guests and provide friendly, helpful service Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures Keep the breakfast area, kitchen, counters, equipment, tables, and floors clean Clear tables and clean spills promptly Wash dishes, utensils, pans, and breakfast equipment Break down and thoroughly clean the breakfast area after service Properly store, label, and rotate food using FIFO procedures Empty trash and complete all assigned cleaning duties Monitor inventory and notify management before supplies run low Receive, organize, and stock breakfast deliveries Assist with additional hotel cleaning or stocking tasks when needed Complete required daily checklists and temperature logs

Qualifications:

Dependable and punctual, with reliable transportation Available for early-morning shifts, weekends, and holidays Friendly and professional when interacting with guests Able to work independently and remain productive without constant supervision Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety Able to follow instructions, recipes, portion guidelines, and brand standards Previous food-service, breakfast, kitchen, or hotel experience is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry supplies Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Ability to work safely around hot equipment, food, and cleaning products We are looking for someone who understands that the breakfast area is an important part of each guest's stay. The right candidate will be reliable, take ownership of the department, and ensure guests receive a clean, organized, and welcoming breakfast experience every morning.
