Kitchen Manager Benefits & Compensation Base salary ($55,000-$65,000) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and sick leave Food and beverage discounts Career growth and advancement opportunities Kitchen Manager Requirements & Qualifications 2+ years of kitchen leadership experience in a restaurant, café, or hotel with direct team management duties Strong understanding of food cost, inventory, waste, labor, and cost control Proven ability to train, coach, and hold BOH teams accountable Practical knowledge of DOH regulations, food safety, and sanitation Experience using scheduling and inventory management systems Highly organized with effective communication and problem-solving skills Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Hands-on leadership approach Kitchen Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations, including prep, production, and service from open to close Hire, train, schedule, and coach a BOH team to deliver consistent results Ensure food quality, recipe accuracy, and portion standards are met every shift Manage inventory, ordering, vendors, and food costs to meet financial targets Monitor labor, scheduling, and COGS, identifying opportunities for ongoing improvement Uphold all food safety, cleanliness, and Department of Health requirements Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure preventive maintenance is up to date Work closely with leadership to continuously enhance systems, training, and overall kitchen performance Join an energetic, supportive team with the backing of a growing hospitality company and play a central role in driving kitchen excellence and guest satisfaction.
