Overview Join our Emiliano's Mexican Table family as a Busser. In this energetic role, you will support the service team by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure smooth operations and happy customers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, sanitation, and customer interaction within a lively restaurant setting. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are clean and properly set for new guests Assist servers by bussing dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly to maintain a tidy dining area Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables in accordance with food safety standards Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of chairs, tables, and cleaning supplies using safe lifting practices Support food handling and sanitation procedures to uphold health regulations and ensure guest safety Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and address guest needs promptly Assist with light catering setup or breakdown as needed to support event service Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Strong communication skills to work seamlessly with team members and interact politely with guests Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety standards is a plus Experience with table setting, serving support, or catering is advantageous but not mandatory A positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to contribute to a lively hospitality environment Join us and be part of our family!
